Updated: Sep 23

ebullience

[iˈbo͝olyəns, iˈbəlyəns]

NOUN

  1. the quality of being cheerful and full of energy; exuberance.

The famed Met Gala was this past weekend, and it was pretty spectacular, as always. If you haven't had a chance, go to the @MetGala Instagram page and look at some of the fab*u*lous creations worn by the celebrities in attendance.

As I was looking at the posts on the @MetMuseum Instagram page, I noticed a picture of a beautiful blue ballgown with the word "Ebulliance". And that is the way it was spelled. Ebullient is spelled with an "e" and not an "a". However, it must have been on purpose. What ever the reason, I don't know.

But I do know that the word that this is a take on, "ebullient" is a great word to have in your vocab. Everyone feels ebullience every now and again.

When is the last time YOU felt it?
